How do I get started with Lysto?

Ready to gather valuable player insights? Let's walk through how to begin your playtesting journey with Lysto in just a few simple steps.

Create Your Account To create your account, simply follow these steps:

  • Visit our sign-up page at https://studio.lysto.gg

  • Enter your work email address.

  • Enter enter the 6-digit code sent to your email. 

  • To complete sign-in, enter your Name and the Company you work at. 

  • Alternatively, you can directly sign in with your google work account.

  • Once you login for the first time, you'll be prompted to input your role. This allows us to tailor the dashboard specifically to your role.

Once your account is active, you'll have access to our playtest dashboard where you can create and manage all your playtests.

Important Note: You can only sign-up with a work email address. If you are an Indie studio and currently do not own a work domain, please Talk to us, and we'll help you set up an account.

Creating Your First Playtest After logging in, click on "+ New Playtest " at the top right corner of your dashboard. You'll see different playtest options to choose from:

Test Types Available:

  • Single-Session Playtest (gather feedback from one gameplay session)

  • Longitudinal Playtest (track player engagement over multiple days)

  • Multi-Session Playtest (understand player progression across multiple sessions, typically in a single day)

  • Survey (collect player feedback without gameplay)

  • Concept Study (validate game ideas, explore themes, a/b test art styles before development)

Uploading Your Game We support multiple platforms for your convenience:

  • iOS - Provide your game through Apple TestFlight or via the App Store

  • Android - Upload your game as an APK (.apk) file

  • PC - Share your game file or download link

  • Browser Games - Simply provide the URL for your browser-based game or prototype


Important Note: Access to the Player Experience (Px) Platform is available only on laptops or desktop devices. For optimal functionality, the platform must remain in full-screen mode and cannot be minimized.

Managing Billing Information You can update your billing details through your profile:

  • Go to Profile

  • Select Edit Company Info

  • Navigate to the Billing Information section

  • Complete address (street, city, zip/postal code, country)

We accept all major payment methods.

Important Note: Only your billing address can be modified through in the profile. You can choose to have the same address for both mailing and billing, or set up two different addresses based on your needs
