Finding the right players for your game testing is crucial for getting meaningful feedback. Let's walk through how to set up your target audience in Lysto to reach the perfect players for your game.

Setting Up Your Player Demographics

When you reach the Playtester Requirements section, you'll see various options to define your ideal player profile:

  • Start with the number of playtesters you need (minimum 2 players)

  • Set your preferred gender distribution using our slider

Important Note: When adjusting the gender slider, pay careful attention to its direction. Moving left increases male percentage, while moving right increases female percentage. The graphic below the slider shows you real-time distribution of your selection.

Choosing Player Locations

At Lysto, we help you reach players across multiple regions:

  • Our primary playtester base comes from India, United States of America, Canada, and United Kingdom

  • Select specific countries or multiple regions

  • Need testers from other locations? Choose "Others" and specify your target countries

Player Experience Levels

 Define your ideal player type:

  • Casual (<10 Hrs Weekly)

  • Midcore (10-20 Hrs Weekly)

  • Hardcore (>20 Hrs Weekly)

Genre Preferences

Match your game with players who enjoy similar experiences by selecting relevant genres:

  • Action

  • Adventure

  • Strategy

  • And many more options to ensure the right fit

Pro Tip: Have specific targeting needs? Use the additional requirements text box to specify any special criteria not covered by our standard options.
